Let me tell you about this here Curry Chicken. I usually give restaurants 4 stars. You have to wow me for five. Taking one bite of the curry chicken blew me away. It's not tough or dry but incredibly moist and not too spicy. I'm from NYC where we have plenty of Jamaican spots and this place hits near or above them.
My husband got the oxtails and just sniffing it he says it smells home cooked. When anything ever smell HOME COOKED! Tastes just as good as it smells. Meat falling right off the bone.
Nice portion sizes for the price too. The rice even tastes like it has coconut milk in it. That's the authentic way. Definitely ordering again!

their food feels like a warm hug. i can only attest to their curry & jerk chicken, which are both delicious. their jerk fried rice makes me wanna cry because of how flavorful it is. top 3 restaurant in albany.

I would have preferred more sauce for my rice and chicken
Jerk Chicken was really good
Cabbage and rice could have used more seasoning and to be cooked longer
Healthy amount of food.
They dont skimp you like most places
I would try again but def would try something different.

Irie Vybez never misses with their food. Best place to get Caribbean food up here in Albany from my own opinion. Always give good quantity.
My usual Order:
White Rice, Oxtails, Mac & Cheese, Plantains.
This combination always slaps, hands down
