Got the "dinner" sized portion of the Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese Dinner
Pulled pork was entirely flavorless, Mac and cheese was dry and the little cheese sauce there was tasted bland, and on top of that, the portion size was genuinely embarassing.
Ive had the same meal in restaurant and it was much better, with a non-child sized portion.
As a KC native, this is my only negative Jack Stack experience ever.

absolutely pathetic. largest part of my order was the potato, which was covered in rock salt. waaaay too much salt. 1Tsp sour cream, 1Tsp chive (literally one chive) ½ Tsp bacon bits (maybe half of one strip diced up) and 1 Tbsp of shredded cheddar. ordered ½lb brisket and ½ smoked sausage. received ½lb TOTAL of both. received enough sauce to drown my truck in. the "smoked sausage" was basically a 3" sausage link that had been cut into thin long slices (dumb). it tasted like deer sausage and was salty as hell, so it either was not done, or was not pork. very "gamey" taste, and not in a good way. the brisket tasted like it was cooked in an over and then put on a smoker for about 10 minutes. $40 down the drain. the worst part is, I asked the locals where the best bbq in Kansas was and was referred to this place, or Q39.I've had better BBQ at Buccees and they're not even a restaurant. Will try Q39 next, but so far, Kansas City BBQ is just embarrassing. very overpriced.

Rib that fall off the bone. Cheesy corn and potato salad that lived up to their reputation. I also ordered the smoked sausage. Everything was fantastic. I cannot think of anything I didn't enjoy. There is always a disagreement among family as to which Jack Stack is better. I think they're all great

Absolutely by far one of the if not the best bbq places ive ever had!! My fiancé is from New Jersey and had KC bbq before, he is now converted. Honestly we accidentally chose the beef burnt ends instead of the pork, best mess up ever they were divine!!!! The biggest shocker and what I will recommend to anyone is the Cheesy Corn Bake please get it I promise you wont regret it!
