I had a craving the night of 1/16 for something within my neighborhood and not a chain. I found Jawa Sandwich Shop on DoorDash and took a short drive to the shop. I tried the Salmon Panini with Shrimp. The flavors were incredible! The owner, Shawn (sp?), invited me to stay past their closing time and told me the story of the shop. His story punctuated the wait for the sandwich. He offered samples of his Pastrami Queens brisket that melted in my mouth. But trying the very favorably reviewed Salmon Panini with Shrimp confirmed - I will be back.

First visit, I was very impressed with the friendliness of Shaun (sp?). JAWA is tiled and very. clean and has several eat-in tables. I picked up a Shrimp Panini by DoorDash pickup. While there, I ordered a salad and desserts for later. Panini was delicious. Haven't tried salad, etc. yet but have high expectations. A great find.
