He opened Splash Seafood Bar & Grill in his Historic Homestead Building at 3rd and Locust.
In the year 2007, the Splash Oyster Bar was built in the Homestead Building.
I had the sliced bbq brisket sandwich, an ice tea, and a bulldog omelette (for breakfast the next morning). The sandwich was amazing and the tea was delicious. The omelette was on the bland side but it was ok.

the food did not taste as good as it has been in the past. The SD Potato Salad was ok but the chili....I have never seen chili that looks or even tastes like this it was bad. The chicken was dry and flavorless. Burnt ends were all fat.

We got the BBQ 2 meat combo. burnt ends and ham. we got 6 pieces of ends and 1 slice of ham. 3rd time ive had issues with my order from this location. Id avoid this location at all costs.

1 Meat (Dinners for 1) the burnt ends that I got were horrible. they were harder than rocks. could not chew them at all. they use to be really good but the last couple times I've had them, they are literally inedible.
