My 2nd time ordering the fried catfish and my 2nd review. I can now honestly say that this is my FAVORITE place for fried catfish in Columbus! The pieces are large, crispy, and flakey. (Tried the hush puppies again to see if they were better than the 1st time but were still a little undercooked for me personally.) Slaw is also delicious!

Salad: I had to chop the green peppers into edible pieces as the strips were huge otherwise it was a nice size salad.
The fish fried in oil that was too hot, it looked burnt on the outside and slightly undercooked inside.
The Tea was perfect in color and sweetness !

I usually refrain from leaving negative reviews, but after a long day at work, I craved a quick and easy meal. Jim Bob’s seemed like the perfect choice due to its reputation for fresh food. However, today’s experience was a complete letdown. The food was far from fresh; the fries were dry and hard, the chicken was tough, and the toast was soggy. It’s unacceptable for businesses to serve old food, especially when they’re closing down. This is not only lazy but also careless. This will be my final order from Jim Bob’s.
