The Buffalo Fish is always fresh. The large portion came with 5 large pieces. It was fried well, however it was cooked slightly under for my liking and the breading in places was a little wet, however, that can easily be fixed by asking for it to be fried hard. As always it was seasoned to perfection.

OMG!!! I have heard about JJ's and this was my second time ordering.
The first time I ordered two large catfish fillets one for me and one for my son. I was expecting to get these small portions for a large price. Well to my surprise when they say large they mean it!! 6 pieces of fish with fries and 2 pieces of bread. I made a sandwich out of one piece of fish and had enough left over later for dinner.
Now the texture of their fish is exactly what i look for soft with a light crisp and delicious flavor.
The second time I ordered a small portion and I got 4 big pieces of fish with fries and two pieces of bread. Again...I made a sandwich out of one piece and still had enough left over for my dinner later.
so all in all JJs has the best catfish I have ever eaten at any other restaurant I've been to.
next time I'm going to order their red snapper.

Catfish was ok. Fresh. 2 pcs in a combo order with regular shrimp.
Peach cobbler was inedible. Very sad, contained peach pit fragments. Crust was a pile of soggy flour water. Very horrible.
Fries were a bit cold and oily-soggy. A few were edible.

Your story is so cool. I can call and speak to the guy and he remembers me when I ask him to fry the fish or oysters hard and they do it.
The lemonade is working again, so I tried the cherry lemonade. It was awesome and I was able to substitute potato salad for french fries just by calling before I placed the DoorDash order. Love the service love the willingness to please the customer.

For starters the restaurant had just opened. I ordered sole Sole Fish chicken wings and jumbo Jumbo Shrimp. highly disappointed!!! chicken looked dark and old. sole was so small and prawns were ok. won't visit this establishment again. I spent 70 plus dollars to recieve below satisfactory food.
