So GOOD! The bread is something, Very Special! Once you have a slice, you have to come back for more! Love This Vallejo Breakfast Landmark, GEM!

Loaf of bread was not sliced as requested. It was hard and stale. Scrambled egg with French toast was so small it was ridiculous. It Might have been two bites and half an egg or part of someone else's order. If you pay $25 for a crab California Sandwich it should have fries included with it as pictured in their menu. The toasted bread was stale and hard. They used to give you pickles on the side. They are really cutting corners and this was a very disappointing meal. This was ordered on a Sunday at 10 am and the bread should have been fresh.

I ordered 2 Corned beef hash, the first order was decent & my 1 year old grandson really enjoyed it. BUT the second order was not only smaller but swimming in oil. The potatoes were beyond bland. It's been awhile since I've eaten in the restaurant, and at that time I enjoyed the food. Don't know what changed won't order again

I love Joy of Eating ... for many many years even. However, just got Biscuits & Gravy and it is so disappointing. I'll still sing the praises of this business, but I'm here to warn people - they are edible, but just not good (both biscuits and the gravy ... both are lacking). Potatoes, homemade bread, and pretty much everything else I've tried has been good, so this is the one exception.
