The fish was cooked perfectly, hot, lightly seasoned and not too hard.The oka was well fried, hot, and not greasy. Nice size fish fillets and plenty of okra! I'd order again.

the 10 Pc Mix Chicken was a few wings and wing sized drums with a breast and a few thighs. I was thinking it was going to be all full sized parts. 15 Pieces Large Shrimp meh. small but fabulously crunchy hush puppies. fries ok. fries okra excellent, fried mushrooms - cut above because they didn't suck.

You will be better off just ordering chicken from here. The chicken is actually pretty good. I ordered whiting and it was so hard you couldn't even get some good meat from it. I received 2 pieces and paid 7 dollars. Not happy.

This place has the best chicken tenders and wings at a reasonable price. The tenders are always moist and nicely breaded. The chicken has always been consistent, and the delivery is quick. I would not have know they existed if not for Doordash.

Let me learn y'all something.... J's does it right EVERY time. The 14. 4 Pc Wings & 2 Pc Catfish is my go to and hits something different. I also get the 10 Pieces Large Shrimp and occaisanly the 5 Pc Tenders. The batter is seasoned to perfection, that chicken and fish is melt in your mouth, and to amp it up- get the spicy lemon pepper seasoning on top. I love my food nice and flavored, especially when im eating fried chicken and a fish fry. J's always hits the spot, their fish & chicken be crispy, flavored, and seasoned to perfection. It has been one of my favorite finds in KC, and they don't do it fancy, they do it right every time!
