Everything was amazing! Second time ordering here and both time have been great! Steak street tacos and Shrimp Chimichangas were both incredible. Tamale was LIGHTS OUT. will get that as my meal next time. 10/10 all around!

We were parked at a truck stop for 2 1/2 days. We ordered 3x's from there. Things we ordered that we'll give a 10 score for outstanding!! Chicken Soup, simple yet delicious a 10. Cheese dip a 10, Chunky guacamole definitely a 10, rice and beans a 10. Chile Relleno a 10. Texas Fajitas a 9, it was slightly over cooked but still pretty bomb! Lots of everything in there. Juanita's special I'll give a 7 only because they layered it wrong. Cheese was in the rice and not on top as shown in the pic. So would of liked lots of cheese on top. The salsa it comes with we give it a 6, it's goo d but lacking something. The smaller green salsa that u have to request is a definite 10 if ur looking for hot and flavorful. And almost forgot the big green jalapeños, those also a 10 and very hot. All in all I'm sad we don't have a restaurant in California like Juanito's but at the same time I'm glad cuz we'd be putting some serious weight on. The packaging was good, nothing spilling or leaking considering we ordered a lot of food. So if ur in the area I would definitely eat at this place than any other place in the area. I could only imagine how good it must be if u actually sit there and eat.

The beef Birria Tacos had no flavor and the pork Carnitas tacos (pork tacos) where good but not great. I've had Carnitas tacos that you knew you where going to have a hart attack, with massive flavor, a grilled Jalapeno , and that green sauce that everybody loves dripping from them. These were not them.

The meat was dry and burnt it only came with about 20 chips very disappointing I called the restaurant to complain they said they would call me back never heard anything

The tomatillo sauce is NOT for the weak! 🔥 We’ve been ordering from Juanito’s for six years, and some menu items are more consistent in quality than others; Juanito’s dip is pretty consistent. The soft tacos were good this time, and the salsa is always the same, which is pretty good. I hope they keep whoever is cooking because the food is good again, although a little overpriced—especially the plain salsa and plain cheese dip.
