Excellent and authentic Bengali food. The Sealdah Station chicken was spicy and delicious. The Fish Paturiwas cooked to perfection - flaky moist and bursting with flavour of mustard. The Makha Sandesh was something unique as i has never tried it before. The texture is similar to white chocolate fudge. And the nuts make it the perfect dessert after a heavy meal. Truly a taste of bengal.

I uses to love this place but I just got 1 tiny piece of fish for 23 bucks. How's the pricing fair?? i wanted to be as supportive as I can for a small business trying to bring bengali food to Vancouver but this seems really unfair.

First time trying this store. Giving constructive feedback here. 1) The roshogolla was a bit chewy and way too sweet. It seemed to be soaked in very sugary hot water. I would have preferred something milkier and less sweet. For $10, this was way overpriced. 2) The fried fish was ok, a bit dry and on the small side. I liked the crunchy batter. Came with ketchup and mustard. Would have preferred a homemade dip or something more elevated. 3) the fried eggplant was very thinly sliced and dipped in a soft batter. Was a bit too bland. This also came with ketchup and mustard. Again, would have liked more effort on the sauce.
