I originally ordered the Chicken Shawarma Plate but unfortunately they were out of chicken. They called right away to offer other options and I got the beef plate. It was so good. The beef was tender and flavorful. The rice was fluffy. Perfect amount of sauce. Loved the afghan salad and the fries were great. Overall I really enjoyed the food

5 stars despite a slight hiccup with there being no chicken, the owner swapped it for gyro meat and substituted another unavailable item for hummus and pita.
Overall great flavor and would definitely try to come back when im back in Galveston. Something tells me they will outgrow the corner store and be in an actual restaurant setting.
I didn't try it but the guy eating raved about the okra and mentioned that he's Cajun and his momma would turnover in her grave if he said that but he said it's probably the best hes had.

This is my favorite plate! Typically get it with rice but tried it with the salad this time. Highly recommend!
