Usually we love this place. This time I ordered Tsunami with salmon instead of krab, a swap I make at sushi restaurants all the time without issue. The hostess called me and said it wasnt possible because they would have to charge me more and they cant do the upcharge on DoorDash for some reason and can't do it on their computer for some reason AND she also can't cancel the order for some reason. So I said just upcharge me and take my card number on the computer and finally it worked out. She asked me what I meant specifically and I explained it to her, everything should be the same except no krab and sushi salmon instead, like a typical salmon roll with lobster on it. She asked if I still wanted lobster and I said yes. What I got in my delivery was a salmon roll that had been cooked to well done, so fully cooked flavorless hot salmon in sushi rolls with hot mushy cucumbers inside and more hot fully cooked flavorless salmon on top. Absolutely no lobster anywhere. Why did i have to pay extra to get absolutely no lobster?? Salmon is more expensive than lobster now?? So of course this was weird and totally inedible. My guess is the hostess put it in wrong even after i specifically explained what i meant to her? Doordash did promptly refund me so that was nice. 0 stars this time but 3 anyway cause usually food here is great just this time was all bad. Maybe it's best to not ask for any changes that you may need. Order something else or order from a different restaurant that can accommodate.
