Reliably excellent. The 15 piece nigiri is always good. The rice is correctly prepared, which is the first criteria. The fish is fresh and of good quality. Tamago nigiri is the test by which all sushi shops must be evaluated, because of the skill involved in preparation (even if ingredients are not expensive). Their Tamago is excellent. My only problem is their fresh wasabi. They do not include enough fresh wasabi to justify the price charged, for the sides. And sometimes the wasabi, while fresh, is not the best. There is room for improvement there. Using traditionally brewed Japanese aged soy sauce would be an improvement for delivery options as well. Otherwise this place is very good and especially at the pricepoint. I will continue to order from here, as I have many times before.

I've been ordering from Kai Sushi for a few years, they are excellent! My sushi tastes fresh and the presentation is very nice. I loved the chopped up veggies in between each roll. Will continue to order as I have in the past.

This restaurant just jacked up its prices by30%. It used to be a weekly go-to, but when you can no longer feed one person for under 40$ -time to find another sushi place.
Youre food is good, but not THAT good

Outstanding. 9.75/10. Superior quality to Sushi San, comparable quality rice preparation and fish to Momotaro (Chicago). Highly recommended. A diamond in the rough. Michelin ranking potential.

All of the regular rolls were good but we ordered the Specialty roll Dynamite based off the photo that was shown and the ingredients included spicy crab and when we got it it just had large scallop on the top. It didn't look anything like the photo and no crab anywhere. We were disappointed especially since it was the most expensive roll we ordered. I reached out about this through DoorDash and they just said "sorry for the inconvenience, we'll let the restaurant know. "
