Great restaurant with amazing staff and delicious food. Wonderful place for authentically spiced cuisine. Add the green sauce for a bouquet of flavor. Add the orange sauce for intense spice. Oakland is blessed to have at least one place (Kamdesh) that does not cater to the bland western pallet.

The lamb in the 05. Lamb Tikka Kabab was super dry and touh, not my favorite. The 01. Squash (Kadu) Borani however was outstanding. The flavor and texture was superb. With a little of the Afghani Yoghurt and rice, it was a perfect bite.

Frindly remark;Food portion was ok but raisins and carrots need to be at least 2 times .
The salad was fresh and dressing needto be doubled.

10. Qabili Pallow was not fresh tasted old, 11. Mantoo also was not fresh with spoiled sour cream or whatever that white milky ingredient it has! Never again!
