This is THE best Indian food around. The flavor profiles are destict and lucious. The veggie pakora goes amazingly well with the butter chicken, chilli paneer, and tikka sauce. I get twosides of the tikka sauce caiseit goes so well with everything I eat always.

Kanishka drastically improved their quality in Biryani. I am a fan of South Indian Biryani and their version of Vijayawada biryani is commendable. I would definitely get it again! Kanishka is the only place that gives you enough raita for two servings.

We ordered Butter Chicken, Tikka Masala - Chicken, Chicken 65 Biryani, Lamb Keema Samosa, and Garlic Naan. Everything was aboustly delicious.
Both curries had an amazing flavor and the chicken was cooked to perfection. Biryani is to die for. We usually have bad luck with Samosa, but this one blew our mind.
Everything was seasonsed well.
I will say, it was a bit pricy to get this but we ate this for lunch and dinner yesterday (2 people) and we still have enough for today. Good portions.

Kanishka has so much variability. Sometimes the food is great, sometimes you get barely any chicken in the curries and the spices are completely wrong. Today I got essentially half a meal in the Methi Gosht - Chicken and it looked orange and tasted like Tikka masala. I don't know if they have some really bad chefs on some nights or what

19.75 for chicken tikka masala I expected a decent serving, it was so watery and so bland. It had only like 7 pieces of chicken, it looks like soup. Garlic naan was ok but lacking the dipping sauce tamarind chutney and cilantro chutney. If you guys want to taste what good Indian food taste like try CEDARS in university district you wont be disappointed.
