WOW! this is the best sushi I've had in Philadelphia thus far. came super fast too. I got the spicy crabmeat roll which was sooo good, and the Godzilla which was absolutely incredible. Would recommend, and will be getting again!!!

The portion sizes were disappointing, especially considering I spent almost $40 for just two basic rolls and a kani salad—not even chef’s specials. The rolls were small and fell apart easily, making them difficult to eat. The kani salad was basically a cucumber salad since there was barely any kani in it. It arrived warm, even though I was less than a mile away, and after one bite, I had to throw it out because it tasted off. The spicy mayo had a strange yellow color, but at least the eel sauce was decent.

Honestly some of the worst Japanese food I've ever had. the beef yakisoba had zero flavor, the noodles and vegetables were all overcooked and bland. the beef was like stew meat, chewy and again, bland. The dressing in the green salad tasted almost rancid. The tempura batter for the shrimp and veggies was super thick and everything was overcooked. The chicken teriyaki was like 2 ounces of overcooked meat and the gyoza filling also tasted off/rancid. Super disappointed. the only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because it was cooked and delivered very quickly.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Kansai has the best sushi! I know the restaurant is closed Monday's, and when im craving sushi I cave and buy somewhere else on that day just to be disappointed. I will never do it again. Kansai is my favorite!!! The food is always so fresh and I love getting a great amount for my money.

The sushi here is amazing & the sashimi is some of the best I ever had. The Salmon Avocado Roll is a must order. Great pricing for how good the quality the fish is.
