• DoorDash orderBeef Satay seasoned perfectly! The Chicken Egg Rolls never go wrong! Order from here for years! Our favorite! I order 2 Coca - Cola think it was cans but came as fountain so a little disappointing but was taped for safety.

• DoorDash orderOkay, I debated whether I should even bother leaving a review, but if I can stop someone from ordering the house special egg foo young...why not be honest and leave a bad review. I used to like their house special egg foo young because it contained a decent amount of shrimp, pork, and chicken - hence the name "house special". The past few times I have ordered this there has been very little meat of any kind (please see photo). It is basically a deep fried egg patty with zero flavor - as you can see, there is hardly any meat or even veggies. Shame on Kim Son for charging $16+ bucks for deep fried scrambled eggs. I notice their quality of food over the past few years has gone by the wayside, yet their prices have jumped more than inflation warrants. With all the great competition out there - I can no longer recommend this jack-of- all-Asian food restaurant that doesn't do any one thing good. The only good thing I can say is that their portions are large. But, a large portion of low-end food is nothing to write home about - buffet style and quantity at high prices. In Houston we are so lucky to have so many great Asian restaurants, sadly Kim Son is not one of them.

• DoorDash orderKim Son used to be my favorite restaurant in all of Houston. Now it is WAY overpriced and not the same quality as it used to be. They had the best Sesame Chicken in town in my opinion, but the size of the chicken has gotten smsller and smaller and this last time I received small pieces that were pretty much all overcooked and chewy. I will probably not order again. No longer a satisfied customer and much better food and vaue elsewhere .

• DoorDash orderthe General Tso’s Tofu and Spring Rolls are my go-to order! the best General Tso's Sauce in town imo. not sickeningly sweet like other spots and the tofu is fried perfectly everytime. The Peanut Sauce that comes with the spring rolls is also one of the best I've had in Houston; my only criticism is it would be better if it was a bit thicker and since the minimum order is 4 rolls, you need to include a second sauce. 1 sauce is standard for a 2-roll order anywhere in Houston so it doesn't make sense that you have to pay an extra $1.50 for a second sauce for 4 rolls.
