I ordered the Brutus as a wrap and the Rachel, as well as a side of the Red Potato Salad. Everything was very good and absolutely HUGE! The coleslaw on the Rachel was creamy and not overly sweet and the rye bread was so good! The Brutus was good but I didn't know what kind of Caesar dressing it would come with. I was hoping for more of a creamy Caesar but they use a vinaigrette-type. Not my favorite but it was fine. The Red Potato Salad was good - very pickle-y!
I would definitely try other items from KJs.

The Banker is phenomenal and has a great combination of flavors. The portion size is pretty substantial. The Cheddar Mac Salad was kind of one-note: salt and tangy. it definitely needs a bit of pizzazz, like more herbaceous or savory notes.

We usually get the Smash Burgers, and my current favorite cold sub is the Brutus. Always fresh, and delicious, the pickles are great too, I'd give 10 stars if I could!

Reuben was a huge disappointment. A Reuben is normally grilled the way you would grill a grilled cheese. Butter the bread on the outside and lay it on a flattop. This was done in a press with channels in it to give it grill marks. the bread was squished, uneven and had chunks of something stuck on it from a previous sandwich. I ate half of it and threw away the rest. It was gross. The problem is I'm out $12. I get hoagies or something from KC's Pickle Barrel twice a month or so. It's usually good but this was bad. I wish I took pictures before I got into it for proof.
