Kokunut Island Grill has the best authentic Hawaiin Food in town! The two meat plate is loaded with fresh cut meat and they give ample sauce cups! Highly recommend over other island food places!

We haven't had Kokonut in a while because it was pretty bad last time (few months ago)
it hasn't improved unfortunately :( the Ahi Tuna Poke was awful.. and its was very expensive for being not tasty at all. no spice mayo on top.. and just had a bad taste.
the katsu chicken looked waaaay different, and was more like chicken fingers, and the breading was not even the same as it use to be..
we are very disappointed

We really like this place and used to order from them almost once a week. The food is very yummy and service is great. However the portion seems to be smaller than before for the price as a fast food restaurant. The sauce they give you now is only like 1/3 of the little cup filled compared to full cup before. Rice is also smaller portion. One of our orders had no cabbage in it. Do they stop giving cabbage too? But the other order had some. So not sure whether it is a mistake or a cutback.

I used to live on O'ahu and love Hawaiian cuisine. I tried their Lil Luau. I ordered brown rice, but they gave me white instead. Apparently, they'd run out. I wasn't really upset about that though. What kind of annoyed me was that I paid for extra mac salad. If that one scoop was "extra," I'd hate to see what a regular portion looks like. The food was decent, but Mo' Bettahs lives up to their name. The taste of their Kalua pork AND mac salad wins over Kokonut's, hands down. Kokonut's mac salad is too sweet imo, but if that's your thing, have at it. Not to mention that you get bigger servings for a cheaper price. I'm glad I tried them, but MB's definitely got the win. Oh, a word to the wise, hard pass on Kokonut's guava cake. It's as dry as Utah. I could tell it was at least 3 days old. I couldn't even finish it.

Nice Hefty Portions. Everything was good, but the Katsu Chicken was particularly over the top amazing. Lava Cake is great as well :-)
Very Pleased overall.
