Korean Village Restaurant Information Korean Village Restaurant opened its doors in 1978. Ok Re Lee and Ke Hang Lee came to Canada with the intention of opening a traditional Korean restaurant in Toro…
amazing-they really listened to our comments and started giving proper portions for side dishes and also stopped adding their delivery fee. we are back to ordering from our favourite Korean restaurant where everything is delicious

Really liked the kimchi tofu stew before but now it's just not good anymore, bland, can only taste whatever broth powder is used, no kimchi tang at all. Beansprout side dish tasted on the cusp of spoiling. Kampungkki is good but was such a small portion that I can't justify paying $20 for it.

Like the last order, the amount of the soup was just above half of the case.
Further more, this time the quality of soups were bad. The Kalbi Tang tasted like from yesterday, and Soy Bean Stew sea food smelled bad and could not eat.

As a Korean, I am disappointed with the portion and the quality. There could have been more tangsuyuk considering the price and compared to the other Korean restaurants. Small-sized tangsuyuks at other restaurants have a lot more than what this restaurant serves. Not to mention that the tangsuyuk is soggy as well. Jajangmyun noodles were extremely bloated and it was hard to untangle the noodles. My mom ended up eating the noodles with a spoon. Sauce is okay, but the Gan jajang just had a bunch of onions trying to substitute the beef.
tldr; Not ordering from this place again.

Very good food and portions. Korean Village has pretty good authentic Korean food. Definitely worth a try! I recommend their black bean noodles (jajangmyeon) and their pork stir fry :D
