I was really excited to try this place given all the amazing reviews and praise. Unfortunately, this was not the hit I was hoping it would be. The Gumbo was bland and flavorless. It was pale, the roux was severely underdeveloped. The same with the Shrimp Etouffee, the roux was pale and it had flavor or spice. Maybe I ordered too early? But everything was flavorless. Not the Southern cooking I was hoping for. The Banana Bread Pudding was absolutely amazing though and worth every penny!

The Blackened Catfish is so delicious. I love the flavours of the sauce mixed with the okra, the mushrooms. 5 thumbs up!!!
