This is one of my favorite restaurants out there. Not only is the food incredible every. single. time... but the staff is consistently kind, helpful, and patient. (it is also pretty affordable!)
I always get the Half & Half Plate with the Beef Short Ribs & Katsu, rice with cabbage, and Macaroni Salad. I always have leftovers too, which is ideal for me. The short ribs are genuinely the best way I have ever had beef prepared. The katsu is always perfectly cooked. The sauce is to die for. I have dreams of the macaroni salad (I'm not even kidding, I have had L&L macaroni salad dreams)
More people need to know about this restaurant. I wish I could rate it higher than 5 stars. 10000000000/10 w.o.w.

I don't usually write reviews but this was just bad. The Chicken Katsu had zero flavor. The only thing that gave it flavor was the Katsu sauce, and when that ran out (they didn't give even close to enough) it was just really rough and tasteless chicken that was not enjoyable to try to finish eating, felt like I had to force it down just to finish it. The Kalua Pork with Cabbage tasted very over salted, and was missing any kind of sauce. the BBQ Chicken had two small pieces of chicken on it, about one inch long and was otherwise just 95+% large soggy clump of rice. Pretty expensive clump of disappointment.

Tastes like a really hearty chicken noodle soup. The broth is esp delicious and not too spicy and not too sweet or salty. Worth every penny.

The ribs are extremely delicious along with the shrimp and mahi-mahi. The macaroni salad tastes uni and delicious as well but the ribs are a must have
