I've been to other L & L's on the west coast so I was excited when you opened. I miss a lot of "local foods". It's difficult to find good grindz so far from home. I have to give you guys a huge shoutout! The Macaroni Salad was perfect! Even the consistency of the rice was like the plate lunches I'm used to. Everything was so "ono"! I'll definitely be ordering again!

L&L always has a special place in my heart.
It makes my little Hawaiian heart a little less homesick. Chicken Katsu /w Gravy, kalua pork and loco moco are always my go to. I am so glad to have L&L closer than having to go all the way to Chesapeake.

Meat & Seafood Mix Expected more flavorful food. Mac and cheese was bland and the fish needed seasoning. The BBQ chicken was good.

Was so happy there's finally an authentic hawaiian place in the dmv! It's not bad but definitely overpriced. Excluding at least 10$ in fees and tips it was 25$ for the plate that provided no teriyaki sauces or plasticware that I requested. The mac salad is bland and I wish the kahlua pork wasn't shredded as much and had more flavor. The chicken was good though. It's nothing compared to Aloha Island Grill in Spokane, WA where you could get a bigger, better, more flavorful plate for less than 15$. If you're ever there make sure to stop by the little run down shack and get the pea salad!!
