Chicken Katsu was crispy and a huge portion!! I had enough to last 3 meals. The container they give is microwave-safe also, so it was super convenient to store and reheat.
The French Fries were also hot and crispy!
Overall the meal was exactly as advertised and as I expected. If I had to give a criticism, it would just be to add more ketchup packets to the bag. I'll definitely be back!

Portion is really big and can be split into two meals. Great value for the price. The meat is tasty but too oily, like half of the rice was soaked in oil lol. I like that it comes with a decent amount of cabbage to balance it out though.

Good food, thought the Spam Musubi 4$ for 3 as it is in the picture. I should've known it was too good to be true. The size is one piece per order.

Poor quality. The chicken was overcooked and the ratio of rice/salad to Mini Chicken Katsu Curry was unbalanced.

I tried the BBQ beef since a Hawaiian plate lunch is something I enjoy once in a great while. The beef was lacking in BBQ flavor and was too salty for my liking. I felt like it could've used some BBQ sauce or more sugar in the marinade to cut the saltiness. Also, in the second plate there were large inedible pieces of gristle and fat.
The rice is well-cooked. No complaints there. The macaroni salad, however, was off-putting. The dressing had a very chemically flavor, almost as though it had soap mixed in. The pasta was obviously overcooked with the noodles not holding their shape and having a mushy texture.
I don't know if this food was prepared by new hires at the store. It's my first time trying from here, so it's just one order. But it's a terrible first impression nonetheless. I don't recommend it.
