The Super burrito with Birria, is everything the barbacoa burrito from Chipotle wants to be, but instead had the extra time slow roasting in the oven along with authentic, curated MX herbs and spice profiles to push it to the next level of flavor complexity. The shredded beef birria with richly concentrated consome juices come already packed inside the burrito with authentic, slow cooked beans and rice add incredible flavors to this enormously portioned burrito. A surprisingly, herbal / medium spicy green salsa came on the side (optional) that was the perfect compliment, offsetting the mexican crema, guac, and authentic cheese melange - all really nicely balanced in a warm flour tortilla - which was incredibly fresh and soft. This burrito is next level.
Recommend cutting it in half and saving for later or sharing. Expensive, but a definite "must try" at least once; you decide if its worth re-ordering. It's a "yes" for me.

The Quesabirria Taco was very tasty and the salsa was delicious. The taco had a healthy portion of meat. I liked that the Baja fish taco had a handmade tortilla but it was extremely soggy and fell apart. The fish was seasoned well and had a good fry. The other ingredients tasted fresh. My order also came with free chips. I would order from here again.

It is fatty and scrumptious and decadent in all of the right ways. Be aware, the Grilled cheese burrito is a monster. It's advised to eat it over two sittings if you can stop yourself from taking another bite.

The food is soooooo flavorful!!! We especially love the beans and rice, on their own or to make burritos with. The burritos are delicious, however they are really oily and that causes stomach problems in our family. Seriously good flavorful food!

La Vaca Birria quickly became my favorite DD burrito/taco spot and go-to for takeout, and while it's still really good, it's sadly just become way too expensive and the changes to a few menu items are disappointing. First, they now charge for delivery which is a bummer, not a deal breaker on its own, but they've also converted to some sort of ultra-luxury burrito fillings format, like duck carnitas, mesquite ribeye, lamb chops and lobster which don't taste that all that great in a burrito, sorry. Their original beef they used to stuff the super burrito with was 🔥🔥 but these mesquite options don't taste half as good and they have crazy upcharges. like I can seriously configure a $43 burrito..!? why?! their birria is still great as are the beans and rice, but hard to convince myself to look past all of the other shortcomings when I can easily get La Corneta or Papalote for much cheaper, no delivery fees and equally great taste
