LALIBELA RESTAURANT ETHIOPIAN CUISINE Lalibela Ethiopian Restaurant was started with one goal in mind, bring the amazing and unique Ethiopian…
High-quality typical Ethiopian, with friendly people at pickup. Veg combo comes with two big injera (which was plenty) and is lower in spice level than many Ethiopian places - only the shiro was intensely flavorful. But all made with great ingredients and obvious care.

the Doro Wot only had 2 drum sticks for $21 flavorless. The injera was cold hard, not edible. the Vegetable Combo was undercooked. i hurt my teeth on the carrots ans potatoes. Instead of collards for the gomen they used hard a poorly choped and poorly seasoned kale. This was a complete waste of money. I'm so annoyed door dash didn't give me a full refund. Not worth it.

I've been eating Ethiopian for over 35 years from Ethiopian restaurants from New York to Paris to London. This is definitely in the top three of restaurants I can think of through the years that are absolutely memorable. And I've only ordered in from Lalibela! I know I'll go there one day and eat in, and I can only imagine how good it must be to actually eat at the restaurant. Love this place! Highly recommend.

First time trying Ethiopian food in NY & this was quite disappointing. My food was completely tossed around and all the sauces were mixed together. For $22 the Vegetable Combo plate was pretty sad & cold. The Lalibela Special Tibs was decent but overall could've used more seasoning. I probably wouldn't order here again
