I have not had Lalo's in years and WOW I was happy I ordered. The meat in the burrito was very good quality and well cooked. Guacamole was fresh and the salsa was full of flavor. Horchata was creamy and the perfect amount of sweetness. Everything was packaged and bagged with care. I am definitely ordering from them again.

My family has been eating Lalos for decades, but recently I just feel like the food has become mediocre and overpriced. Mexican food is supposed to be cheap, abundant and tasty and I feel that this was none of the above. My mother in law ordered a chicken quesadilla- it was over $5 for ONE tiny corn tortilla with a little bit of cheese and a tiny chunk of chicken in it! It was so bad I literally laughed when I opened the bag and saw what it was.
My husband's vegetarian burrito was basically rice and sour cream in a tortilla.
The tomatoes on my Torta were not very fresh.
The only thing that looked decent was my father in laws burrito dinner, but we could have gotten it much cheaper elsewhere. I don't think we'll be ordering from here again.

The best delivery packaging ever!! Everything comes tied and taped. The taco dinner is some of the best tacos I've had in the Midwest. Their rice is the best Mexican fluffy rice any restaurant has. The milanesa de res Torta is always fresh(the breaded steak sandwich is a Chicago staple). My favorite is their chicken soup. Shrimp cocktail is so fresh and the shrimps are so crunchy never soggy. They have THE BEST SANGRIA. If you ever get to experience dining in, Wednesday Dinners are the best but busy and their Blue Margarita is dangerously delicious. It's the most beautiful Aesthetically and an Authentic Mexican Restaurant thats been a favorite growing up in this town for Decades.

Wow! this restaurant has amazing, great tasting food! I don't live in the area but I work in the area and I order food by delivery and it's so good all of the time I can't wait to visit this restaurant in person I'm planning to go for my husband's birthday next week I can't wait to go!

The chile rellenos are good but the empanadas are tiny and expensive. The tres leches cake tastes like it's just a box cake mix.
