Fantastic! The Black tie sandwich is the best roast beef sandwich in Portland. I had the daily soup. Today it was chicken orzo & it was wonderful! -- like fine homemade soup. Just what I needed on a cold day!

Butcher Chop Salad nothing like the pic in the menu very minimal butcher meats 7oz of greens & onion and 1.7 oz of meat, not a meal salad but rather a side salad for $16 the half #2 Pork & Beef Meatballs was not bad flavor was a spicy Italian

I come back because the meats are quality and not salty and they use fresh Grand Central bread. I wish they had a build your own. I will say the current special of #1 Smoked Roast Beef is delicious and I don't much care for roast beef. Its loaded with meat so don't assume a half isn't much. I always love the Daily Soups as well. Although I just like not love the carrot coconut curry. The sandwich dipped in it though YES!

Yes! Definitely love the Steakhouse Roast Beef sandwich! It is delicious. Cooked rare/med. rare every time. Great topped with lettuce and mayo. Love the bread -- always fresh! This is the best roast beef sandwich in Portland!

I am super impressed by the quality and value of the Butcher Chop Salad. Unlike many other salads, this one did not disappoint on filling me up with lots of yummy ingredients. I highly recommend it!
