The catfish platter is over 20 dollars and its one small fillet and no sides but I will say this it tastes really great. The macaroni is okay it needed more egg. The Crawfish Etouffé was mostly rice and very very little crawfish but it tasted great. The collard greens tasted good and were a normal size side . You get 4 boudin balls that taste pretty good. The Corn Puddingw ayvery good and a normal size.
Overall I would say that the portions are Really small and the Prices are really high. My order was over 100 dollars.
They forgot my Sweet Tea and Peach Cobbler but some things are out of their hands so Im not upset about it.

I ordered knowing that I was going to have leftovers, but I wanted to try a little bit of everything. Every dish tasted like a home cooked meal in such a positive way, true comfort food. Very authentic to Louisiana style cooking. I wanted to just have a couple of bites of the Wendell's Peach Cobbler so i'd have some leftover, but once I started, I couldn't stop. So delicious.

I was so excited to see boudin on the menu it's been a hard 10 years living with out it imagine my surprise to see they have it unfortunately it was freezer burnt and made it to the trash the Debora's Jambalaya was tiny for 18$ however it was propper lots of places fall short when it comes to this but they were on point spices were toasted perfectly flavors were all right same for the rest of the food the portion was just tiny the Taste of New Orleans was well worth it greens were perfect and over all this place has some potential I'd order here if your looking for the most authentic flavors lots of Cajun food falls short there especially in portland

The Seafood Gumbo is super yummy and the Crawfish Etouffee was out of this world! Tried the Collard Greens as well which were seasoned just right!

Grew up in the Deep South. Best southern food I've had in Portland. The Sweet tea was filled with sugar, just how it should be.
