Lokma, which means bite in Turkish, opened in the Outer Richmond in February 2018. In our bright and open location, we serve fresh Californian and Turkish cuisine while providing a friendly welcome to…
Another great meal from lokma. I love their karniyarik. It is a very filling dish that usually lasts me two nights. My husband doesn't eat meat and loves their papas bravas and calamari couscous.
Always reliably delicious and travels well for delivery.

Short ribs are literally the best comfort meal. This place is a 10/10 for me. The give a good portion of extra pita too for a couple bucks. Definitely adding this to my favorite list.

Sujuk - Turkish Sausage was unedible. Half of the pieces were fully burned/ pure char, the other thicker half of the pieces were not cooked.
Simit tasted like it was made a week ago and they were serving leftovers. Maybe acceptable if they weren't charging $5.
I usually love Lokma but this time was incredibly disappointing.

First time ordering from this restaurant - will definitely order again! This was the perfect amount of food for two people.
- The grilled chicken was tender and perfectly cooked. Well seasoned and comes with a side salad. Simple but tasty dish.
- The manti was delicious! Bite sized dumplings with some sort of meat - almost reminded me of ravioli.
- Citrus salad was also good. The dressing was tangy and complemented the citrus and raisins well. Only comment is that the greens were a little wilted when we picked up. But otherwise flavors were on point.

The mashed potatoes surrounding the halibut was fantastic, maybe the best I have ever had. The Wild Alaskan Halibut was seasoned to perfection. The only reason I gave 4 stars was due to the halibut being very dry. (I realize this could be from the delivery.) Overall I can't wait to try more courses from here!
