best Thai food around! Tofu pad see ew, seafood Tom yum soup, & garlic ginger rice were near perfect (soup was a bit salty) - tasted homemade & good quality (not greasy/ like fast food), & NO MSG!

The Garlic Spicy Edamame The Secret of Gai is FIRE! The Light - Combo with Chicken and Garlic Rice was amazing. The dipping sauce has a nice zing to it. Also the Puffy Cream Cheese and Crispy Veggie Egg Rolls were a nice compliment to the other items. And even tried the Ubaby dessert for a new experience and was delicious as well. Will definitely be back. 💜

Luck Gai is the epitome of a family run JEWEL of a restaurant. Doordash reviews are usually focused on the food, but I want to tell u about the people and restaurant too.
First- food
- the first time I went here months ago I came back 3 days in a row. Everything is that delicious.
- the steamed chicken is so fresh, rich, and tasty it is perfectly cooked. Love the fatty skin. The fried chicken is crunchy and umami flavored. The rice is high quality, and sauces are extremely flavorful.
- Pad See Ew is legitimately the best pad see ew around, they really dry the noodles and flavor coats the entire dish. They use shiitake mushrooms for an umami boost and it makes a huge difference.
The restaurant is a small family owned place which put a lot of care into opening and being there for the community. They are so friendly with free tasters, generous coupons and take the time to explain all the food. They are really open to input as well.
Love this place. Please support! I am not friend or family, just like it a lot! - Nathan C

So door dash doesn't allow changing spice level on menu items for Luck Gai. We ordered the Drunken Noodle (pad kee mao) and I wish I could have adjusted it to no spice, level 1, or mild. So the order came and it was insanely spicy, and unfortunately for personal preference, inedible.
The Mighty - Poached Chicken - delicous
as always but the garlic rice seemed under cooked and crunchy (in an unpleasant way.)
I think dine-in tends to be a 10/10 experience. Sadly, in this take out instance it was a 6/10.

Ordered very hot beef Yellow Curry and received chicken bits in it and there was no spice at all. The Panang Curry was bland. Would not order from here again.
