Arrived hot and crunchy, definitely my go to spot for snacks. FRIED OREOS (6 for 10$) were good sized and cooked perfectly. FUNNEL CAKE was really good just had a couple spots that were a tad overcooked but it was like let's say the entire cake was 100 inches, 4 inches were overcooked. CHEESE DANISH on point, CHURROS (6 pieces) could have used more cinnamon sugar on them but they were cooked perfectly too.

the affordable prices here make it easy for multiple people to eat for not to much pressure on the purse. with that said..
the MOJITO LEMONADE 24 oz was like nothing I ever had! so creamy and not to bitter. like an orange cream cycle but better!!! great for summer day.
The FUNNEL CAKE was pretty amazing. soft on the inside and little crisp on outside. Dough tastes very good.
OVEN-BAKED JUMBO EMPANADA so funny story with these I didn't get to try them for a good reason. my husband liked and ate them!! LOL! he NEVER eats anything I get. he liked them a lot. that is a good thing.
BUILD-YOUR-OWN BROWNIE my husband and I split this. A+ from both of us.Nice and thick flavorful brownie. Building it yourself is fun! big portion.
Waffle Fries amazing! cooked and seasonedjust right. Great portion.
DOUBLE CHOCOLATE CHIP CANNOLI (1 piece) best canoli i ever had. huge and creamy!!!! as was TRIPLE CHOCOLATE CANNOLI

Chaufa had big chunks of chicken (looks like from a rostisserie chicken) and bones on the side of the rice. The rice was really greasy ans salty. The green sauce tasted nothing like a peruvian sauce, it was sour. The mangonada is just shaved ice with mango flavoring, the stick was blueberry and not the usual red one. The crepes were so dry (feels like a frozen crepe, stale, bland) and it was filled completely with this THICK abount of frosting. Wayyyy too sweet, and the texture made it worse.

OVEN-BAKED JUMBO EMPANADA - the dough is thick and sweet like a pancake. The filling had no seasoning despite the obvious peppers and onions. And the meat taste/texture was off.
CHEESE DANISH quality like that of a mass produced and sold out of a vending machine.
CHOCOLATE CROISSANT quality like a pre frozen croissant with chocolate syrup drizzled all over.
Awful. Just awful.

I've had Tito's Sloppy Garbanzo Marina Sub many times. It tasted extra delicious with the cilantro that was added to the sandwich. I would have loved a little more marinara sauce, but it was still delicious 😋
I also ordered the Berry Vegan Pie. It was very tasty as well. I would definitely get it again.
I always look forward to ordering from The Machichi Gold Leaf Pastry Shop & Cafe when I am in town.
