Crispy String Beans is still a favorite. Tried two different things this time too and both were good: Tom Kha (Small) soup had a tasty comfort-food broth. The chicken added to it was a little dry. The Thai Beef Jerky appetizer with hot sauce was very chewy--but hey, it's jerky, right?! Flavor was good and the little sprigs of cilantro were appreciated! I will order from here again. Delivered in a paper bag and paper cartons... ecologically friendly.

Second time ordering these Crispy String Beans and they are still a favorite. The batter really clings and stays crispy. The pork-skewer apps are very good too (one was a little tough, but still delicious). The foil packet they were wrapped in preserved their juice. See my photo. The Chicken Wings are ordinary... good enough for that one person in your group who is scared about unfamiliar Thai foods. The smaller pieces were dry; the meat in the larger part of the drumettes was a litte more moist. I like this place... will try more foods from here.

Pad see ew looked a bit bland but let me tell you it was a bomb 10/10! Mango sticky rice was amazing and such a great portion. Also got the Thai iced tea that was a great complment to the meal. Will order again!

The Good: Once again had the Panang curry. Freshly made, flavorful, mild spice(heat); the chicken was tender and the broccoli still had a slight crunch and was not over-cooked. The wonton soup was good: had plenty of snow peas and cabbage along with 6 wontons. Unlike Chinese wonton soup this Thai variation tasted slightly sweet- not sugary per sea, may come from a certain spice. The fried taro with black bean was good, not greasy even though fried and the sweet peanut dipping sauce was just the right accompaniment. The not so good: The Panang curry entre was a small serving. Barely a half cup of broccoli and less chicken than the last time I ordered it. The entree did not come close to filling up the container; and for the price, I expect more in terms of portion. Mae Ploy's portions used to be larger. ( The taro black bean portioning used to be larger too. ) I was hoping the smaller portions, given price increases, were a one off but now I know they are not since this has happened in previous order.

Had the Panang Curry and Papaya Salad this time. Each delicious. I have been going to Mae Ploy since it opened. I've tried many of their dishes and haven't been disappointed. Food is always fresh and tasty. Can be on the spicy side so be sure to include your spice-heat tolerance level. The reason I did not give five stars is that while prices have gone up, portion sizes have gotten smaller; I wish tofu was an option among the protein choices; and, to keep sauces/dressings from leaking in takeout/ delivery bags, I wish the bags had cardboard on the bottom and were sized better so food wouldn't tip.
