We've been regulars for 20 yrs and while usually awesome, this particular order was significantly under cooked. The French Toast was no bigger than 4x3 at best which is half what they were b4. They've been reducing portions/raising prices since 2020 (as they should) but this is extreme.

This place used to have the best food. It was well prepared, plenty of whatever you ordered and generous slices of pie.
Now, like everyone else, they nickle and dime you to death. We ordered steaks tonight. An unlikely place to enjoy steak but theirs is tender and cooked right.
The baked potato? Hard as a rock, and never mind trying to microwave it, they are perma-hard.
Salad you say? A generous portion of bagged iceberg lettuce blend. A very few scattered croutons. No tomatoes, cucumber, onion or cheese.
I think we are done trying with them, but the steak was good.

we ALWAYS love the food at Magnolias. The fish fry is awesome. But, nobody in my family has ever had a bad meal at or from Magnolias.

Chicken Parmigiana came with little to no sauce. Magnolias Southern Fried Chicken was greasy and tasteless and burnt. Both meals had absolutely zero flavor.
