Possibly the worst Indian food I've ever had in my life. I'm only giving an extra star because of the benefit of doubt (I might be biased because I'm Indian) as well as good service. The paneer curry tasted awful. I'm guessing they used almond paste which gave the curry the texture, bitterness, and sourness of spoiled milk. I'm sorry for leaving this review, but to be fair, none of the other Indian restaurants in the area are much better.

Maharani is our go-to place for Indian delivery. Great quality, very consistent, usually arrives pretty quickly. Especially love the Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Saag, Rogan Josh, & Kabuli Naan.

Naan is perfectly soft, and all the curries are balanced wih good spice levels. Lots of great options, and very few poor options. Malai Kofta hits the palate well. So far, the best North Indian cuisine I have eaten in Madison.
