• DoorDash orderThis is not the signature Maki Yaki I remember. Recently moved back to Whittier and Maki Yaki was one of our favorite restaurants. We couldn't wait to have it! That craving we were looking for in our regular order was not what we expected from one of our favorite spots in Whittier. It was really flavorless, bland and the price does not reflect the amount of food we got. Maki Yaki always had a distinguished taste, but today I certainly did not get that with my meal. Disappointed is an understatement. They might have changed management, owners or were directed to use less flavor, either way this isn't Maki Yaki and I will not pay top price for something I can get at Yoshinoya for far less.
