I really like this restaurant. I traveled to Italy many times and this is the closest in quality I could find in Bay Area. Very creative dishes and not too much sauce. The quality is always good. Recommended!

The calamari was $13 and we received 12 pieces of the ring style and it was just ok tasting. Not worth that amount of money- we were expecting more for that price.
Chicken parmesan was not that good. It arrived pretty much soggy in our togo order and just was basic.

At $24 for the pasta, the portion is good but I struggled to find any flavor in the Prawns Portofino. I know it's a subtle sauce but it's like they forgot salt. I may try this place again but I'll definitely try a different pasta.

Been awhile since I've enjoyed longtime fave cucina, so settled on Veal Marsala tonight. I don't know what I got but it wasn't like any other Marsala I've had. Yes, there was tender veal and yes, there were a few mushrooms - but way too many chunky onions, tomatoes and garlic turned what should gave been a dish with delicate flavors into a "rustic" style stew. Sorry, not a fan of whatever this was, overpowering flavors ruined it. What a waste of good meat and wine :(

The Pesto Chicken panini was great. Garlic fries had good flavor, but a bit soggy for my taste. Panini roll was fresh and chicken was flavorful.
