Flavorful. Excellent portion sizes. The lemonade looks great, but, the lid was exposed. The cabbage and sausage side was just right. The beans, the yams, the rice and gravy, all very good. Overall, my selections and portion sizes were proportional for the price. The food was piping hot. The New 7up Lemon Cake I sampled was good too. Leftovers tomorrow! Muah!

The Smothered Chicken & Smothered Pork Chop with rice is delicious and very plentiful. Cabbage cooked with hotlinks was done perfectly, the cabbage was not overcooked and still a little sweet. I also ordered smashed potatoes with garlic butter, traditional mac and cheese. and candy yams. I ate the Smothered Chicken, cabbages with hotlinks, and smashed potatoes. But, I sampled the Smothered pork chops, mac & cheese, and yams.
There was a buy one slice of cake and get the second free both 7up Lemon Cake & Red Velvet Cake tasted like homemade, too small.

BBQ Ribs Special came with ONLY 2 ribs and then ,of course, 2 sides. Ribs were seasoned with a similar texture of baked ribs and BBQ sauce glaze. Texture was more on the non tender side, but I typically prefer this. Side dishes: Greens- flavorful, and prepared with smoked turkey or pork meat. Cabbages were seasoned good and prepared with powdered seasoning minced garlic and chopped onions. Handmade Lemonade was disgusting with an over powering taste of lemon Zest and high amount pulp, lacked sweetener. Main dish is overpriced for the serving size but tasted ok.

Read this before ordering:
I ordered fried cabbage with links, rice and gravy, mac and cheese, candied yams, a slice of red velvet cake and a pineapple lemonade.
Reading through the comments, I was hesitant. Some said the food was good, others said it was not so good. I had faith and I'm glad I did.
The food was tasty and came hot upon delivery.
1: Rice and gravy - flavorful, not salty at all with a meaty aftertaste, rice was tender and cooked thoroughly. This was not salty, and I'm sensitive to salty foods myself.
2. New baked cheesy mac: Nice flavor as well. The macaroni noodles also have a good flavor to them outside of the cheese portion. It's tasty, and I wouldn't be opposed to buying some for my mom or grandma (the most critical food reviewers), without fear of being laughed at for bringing bad food to them. In fact, my granny tried this and she approved.
3. Sweet Candied Yams - Tasty and sweet! The yams were soft and cooked thoroughly. Tip: It's even more delicious paired with mac and cheese and the fried cabbage with links.
4. Fried Cabbage with Links - The links were a little sparse, but understandable considering the main ingredient is cabbage. I thought this paired well with mac and cheese and yams. It tastes like something I would make at home and was seasoned well, with a slight crunch from the cabbage and a good smoky flavor all throughout.
5. Red Velvet Cake: Delicious! Absolutely delicious. I bought this on a whim. Some restaurants I won't mention use store bought red velvet cake, and I am sensitive to that taste (like biting into soft textured chemicals with icing on top). This is a great pet peeve for me because if I wanted to buy a red velvet cake from Safeway, I would do so. No, this tastes homemade. Best believe I ate it all with satisfaction.
6. Handcrafted lemonade- I chose pineapple. It tasted great and wasn't too sweet or too sour, it was just right.
