• DoorDash orderI was really excited to try the Amritsari Fish Pakora, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The fish was fried in a thick layer of besan (gram flour), which made it overly greasy and heavy. The coating lacked the crispiness that usually make this dish stand out. The fish itself didn’t have not any seasoning or taste, and the overall texture was more soggy than crispy. I was expecting a delicious, flavorful snack, but it was more of a fried fish with besan, which didn’t do justice to the authentic Amritsari recipe. Hopefully, they can improve on the flavor balance and texture next time.
