As a CT transplant I take my lobster rolls seriously! The Connecticut roll did not disappoint! It had the buttery, toasty flavor I want with good sized chunks of lobster. The surprise was the garden salad. Not only was it bigger than I expected, they didn't resort to a pile of lame iceberg lettuce and used fresh and tasty ingredients that all played well together.

I ordered two Lobster Bisques. Both 12oz containers. 1 I added extra lobster meat. I think it was $4 extra. Once they arrived I had to figure out which had extra lobster but in doing so, realized there was NO lobster in one and about 5 pieces added to the other. For the price of the soup, and being a lobster restaurant, you would expect lobster in a regular order, right??
It was flavored nicely but honestly, tasted like Sysco (place that sells to restaurants) instead of made from scratch. I was in wholesale sales to restaurants and a lot of places will use premade items.) Just expected more for that price along with you being a lobster restaurant. Disappointed for my first visit. :(

Ordered two bar harbor connecticut rolls and it is not worth the price... I really had high hopes but the sandwiches are soooo small for what you pay and the taste is ok, lobster was very rough and chewy. wouldn't order again.

On vacation & found this place on the way. The Connecticut *Connecticut Roll was absolutely FABULOUS!! Mouthwatering & tender!! A little slice of New England heaven at the beach!!

Order extra lobster in my soup and there was 1 spoonfultotal of shredded lovstermeat. Also soup was cold. The bun wothmy order was barely toasted and soggy inside. I have ordered and eaten here before and this was nothing like it has ever been!
