Been ordering here for years and felt like I needed to defend this after I read the last review. The Garlic Shrimp and the Mac salad has always been on point. Two of my favorites. Cooked/made to perfection.

The BBQ Beef had a very strong flavor that made it very salty and di to eat. I was di at the small cups the macaroni salad was in as well it creates unne waste/pollution just to save a few cents in giv us a couple spoonfuls less. The chicken katsu was absolutely flavorless and the fried shri had a strange aftertaste. I chose to or here be it looks in the pictures like this was ac BBQ'ed unlike some of the other places. It tasted like it possibly was BBQ'd at some point, but it was soft and had a dry te as if it sat and was recooked on a flat top. Overall disappointed and won't order from here again.

You pay 15 dollars and more for a combo plate and you get one tiny short rib that is unchewable and absolutely no sauce on the chicken or beef. I'll stick with L&L

I'd never tried Hawaiian food before I tried this restaurant. The Side Katsu Chicken was a bit dry but with the sauce they give you it balanced it out and gave it a great flavor. The Spam Musubi (4) also did not disappoint, will be ordering from here again!

Chicken Katsu, great. Maybe a little overcooked, but solid. Kailua pork is soooo good. The pork is seasoned perfectly and so moist! Macaroni salad is good, but it was warm. Would be nice to separate the mac completely from the dish ( Half n Half Meat )
