Best rice ive ever had.
I dont usually write reviews but this place suprised me. This was my first time eating Jollof rice and it was amazing, the taste was just out of this world. It had a behtoful vibrant red color from tomato stew im assuming. I did research on the dish and the cooking methods are intricate. I will say, the only difference from a classic Jollof rice and the one here in Mecca was the aromatics sautéed. They used classic Somali rice xawash which im not mad at, I personally loved it even more. I only mention this because I'm aware some folks are very specific about their jollof recipe.
Nonetheless, this Somali/jollof rice fusion was genius and im obsessed with this dish.
The texture was very fluffy but not drying. It had a shine and somewhat moisture from the stew to help take it down. The fish was amazing as well I just needed to honestly give my applause to the rice.
Will be coming back for sure, with company as well!

• DoorDash orderNot enough words can be said. Idk who wrote that the Samosa Beef had no flavor thats laughable. The food is so fresh and flavorful. Words cannot describe how delicious their food is. I will definitely be coming back.
