Hey listen, I've lived here in Jackson County most of my unremarkable existence, had more than my fair share of coffee themed freeze drinks. Human Bean, Dutch Bros, Starbucks etc...and I really must confess the Dancing Elephant drink is easily and infinitely my favorite. The iconic taste of a Dancing Elephant Shake is that it tastes like a vanilla milkshake and they are far too thick to drink for at least 5 minutes. You can't taste coffee. Otherwise, it's just an ordinary blended latte. I've gotten these for years.
However, this last order tasted like I ordered a blended latte from Dutch Bros. I'm not even sure I wasn't substituted a mistake, as it was much thinner and darker in color, just like the blended lattes. And if not, they changed the recipe and now there's no reason for me to return here. I only let myself get these every once in a while and I'm very disappointed.
My kids loved the Peach Smoothie.
