I've been looking for some good Jamaican food for years now and never knew this place existed. Glad I listened to my thought when I said to check DoorDash.
It looks so authentic and the aroma of the food fills a room but it make you eager to dig in. The flavors all made sense once I started. The chicken was cooked properly and stil retained moisture and the juices carried the dish further. I wasnt a fan of cabbage until I had Jamaican cabbage and ive been eating it ever since so I didnt need to know if it was good. I knew it was. The only thing I will say to critique is they gave me rice and beans instead of the whipped potatoes I ordered, but the rice still was good and paired quite well with the chicken.
Thank you for this experience! Im glad to know yall exist and you'll see more of me!

This review may seem a bit conflicting.. this was my first time trying this cultures food, I tried the Dry Jerk Chicken Meal and I didn't like it AT ALL!! 🥺 But to rate the RESTAURANT, they were AWESOME!! It was fast and that is a great amount of food on the plate!!

for the price i got 3 little bones, more sauce than anything, they were tough and had a unusual taste about them.

The food was delicious. I ordered the oxtail/jerk chicken combination platter. They give you enough to satisfy you. It comes with two sides so I ordered rice and peas along with sweet plantains. They both were good. The oxtail was tender and delicious. The jerk chicken had the right amount of spice that doesn't burn or overtake your tastebuds. Then, I ordered rasta pasta on the side. It was my first time trying it and it didn't disappoint. I'll definitely try it again. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for good Jamaican food.

Overall, this was a great meal! I typically prefer dry, but in this case the wet was more flavorful. It's obvious that the recipe is authentic, as although many attempt jerk chicken, the culture is rarely duplicated. There was a nice level of spice and seasoning. The rice and peas were not the best that ive had, possibly due to the strong coconut flavor. The cabbage as well. The macaroni was good. The plantains were very dry. I would definitely order the main entree again, but the side preferences would vary.
