The smothered chicken and biscuits is to die for! The mixture of the flavor profile is dynamic. From the warm fluffy honey butter biscuits to the juicy crunchy chicken tenders. Best in the DMV!

The Fried Catfish Side was phenomenal, as always. I love that they always include hot sauce. This was my first time getting the Chef Sammy's Award Winning Shrimp & Grits and it was pretty good too. A little pricey for what you get, but the flavor was good.

The Candied Yams weren't in the sealed bag and neither were the Red Beans & Rice unfortunately. The Deep Fried Strawberry Shortcake Biscuits were good but the portion is too large. Award Winning Shrimp & Grits were overcooked and the turkey sausage seems unnecessary so I'd leave those out next time along with the half ripe tomatoes. You get five jumbo shrimp with it, so I guess that's why it costs $30. Seems too expensive for what you get based on shrimp and grits at other places.

The Cajun Caesar Salad was kale and shrimp. No croutons, Parmesan cheese , tomatoes...just kale and shrimp. For $22 I expected a lot more than what I got.
The Turkey Sausage was very overcooked and almost burned.

portions are huge. need smaller portions and more affordable. very expensive but delicious. $6 scrambled eggs is crazy and $17 French toast that doesn't come with any sides. but it's good, just wish they had smaller portions available.
