I absolutely live this place. when I judge a Mexican restaurant I base it on my first response to their rice and spiciest salsa. both these are so good here. I recommend any of the chimichanga plates or anything at all as long as you order that Diablo! 🔥

the chips were stale. the flautas were not as advertised. I had 3 chicken ones, not the 2 chicken and 2 brisket as in description. I got an 8 ounce container full of refried beans and almost as much rice. they were supposed to be a single serve each that accompanies the entree. rice was greasy tasting.

Bacon wrapped shrimp for $18! We tried and they are very small. I am used to Pappasitas for that price. Disappointing. The queso is great though so average out 3 stars.

I loved milpa when I lived here years ago. I'm not so sure anymore about the kitchen. I got the Flautas and it was a joke. they were cut unto random smaller pieces. they say you are getting multiple but it's two flautas cut into pieces. gauc was very salty.
