It's a hit and miss with this Mimi's. Sometimes the food is really good and sometimes it's over coated. Always good size portions. Of course the muffins are always really good.

The Pain Perdu with Mixed Berries had some sort of chocolate sauce (I think, it was dark brown and syrupy), eggs had lumps of either uncooked egg or cheese (which I did not ask for) and I think char from the grill and the "fresh" fruit i.e blueberries were smashed and gray. I'll be calling restaurant and ask for a refund. Mimi's used to be a wonderful restaurant, not sure what happened.

Mush, Bacon & Brie Omelet despite having the word "mush" in it was pretty good. The potatoes that came with it were possibly some of the best tasting ive ever had, I was borderline shocked at how tasty they were. The bacon side was underwhelming, thin and pale, not at all crispy, I threw most of it away. If they upped their bacon game this would have been 5 stars so it's a shame something so easy to remedy is holding them back.

Corned Beef & Cabbage the corn beef is really tough. Cabbage is bland. Very disappointed. I would give 0 stars if I could especially because we paid so much for this meal.
