Heard that the head chef who worked at China Palace for 20 years started working over at Ming Yen so I decided to give Ming Yen a try. Man the mongolian beef recommended by Will was soooo good and the portion size was way bigger than any other Chinese spot in Novato. I also ordered their house fried rice and house chow mein and I can definitely say I will be a regular!

The food was excellent tonight. I love that they have VEGAN choices. The vegetables are crispy and cooked perfectly. Sauces are excellent. So delicious.

The Fried Chicken Wings (6 Pcs) are always my favorite here... as is the Vegetable Fried Rice- enough for 3-4 people with lots of vegetables.

The vegetables in my soup were very fresh and flavorful! I normally dine in at ming yens because of the amazing service, but
I wasn't feeling well and this soup really helped make me feel better!

Spicy Eggplant & Tofu was excellent. Eggplant was a lovely soft texture; tofu fried & delicious. Warm and saucy, but messy and the package leaked all over my order.
Green beans & broccoli were lovely! Perfectly cooked with slight crisp remaining.
Vegetable Fried Rice was very disappointing. Zero flavor and odd color. I asked for no eggs but see specks of them thoughout. I cannot eat as I am Vegan.
Buddha S Vegetable was also disappointing. The noodles were in a solid lump and the flavor wasn't there. Liquid also leaked all over the place & made a big mess.
Veggie eggrolls were okay - not outstanding or memorable.
