i think this is one of the best restaurants in new haven. the sushi, sushi rolls, and sashimi are consistently fresh and delicious!
i recommend taking advantage of the ala carte menu (especially the hamachi sashimi!)

The Red Stone Roll was amazing! Probably one of my top rolls here. I also loved the Spicy Tuna Roll, such a classic.

These 'Miso Japanese' dishes were like a vision of love.
Biting into them felt like hitting a high note that blended into reverb and a trippy 2d lo-fi visualizer.
I felt like this meal kissed me in 'that cinematic way,' then turned and walked into the ether (where its Jpop bandmates waited with a friendly, but enigmatic, smile and wave) leaving me to touch my mouth with disbelief.
It made me stare into the ether longer that I should have.
I even made friends with Wasabi. It was a magical night.
I highly recommend this secret door into paradise. It's worth it.
The delivery person was even a delight. Treat yourself 💗
