Momiji began in 2010 as 5 tables and a bar in NE Salem. Since then our popularity and dedication to crafting pure, delicious sushi has led us to proudly operate 10 locations in the heart of Oregon.
The Salem Roll is our favorite roll and go-to after trying a few others. The Chicken Katsu Donburi is great. The chicken is moist and well coated with panko. It comes with sauce on the side so it is still crispy when it arrives :)

The Katsu Donburi is delicious, chicken is tender with a respectable amount of panko. We opted for the spicy version, it had a slight buffalo flavor but we enjoyed it. Spice level is medium-hot relatively.
The Salem Roll is our go-to, we get it every time and it never disappoints. Typically prefer real crab meat but this is our exception. Would highly recommend trying if you haven't.

I ordered the Vegas Roll and the Philly Roll and both were bland with too much cream cheese. I am grateful they took my ginger allergy seriously but I won't be ordering from here again unfortunately. Sushi Yummy is still my favorite and can't be beat but they aren't on this side of town 😢

4 outof 5 times we eat here the rolls fall apart and can't be eaten as full rolls. (Half stick to the container, and another 25% flake into the soy bowl before reaching our lips.) The flavors are great and it's always fresh but impossible to eat without a spoon. It happens sometimes at other restaurants but it's consistent here. such a bummer.

Honestly the sushi I got tasted stale/old, poor quality, and had an awful aftertaste to it. The Gyoza also just tasted a tier below ling lings that you can get from Costco. For the money you spend on this, it just is not worth it.
